The Strawberries

The same day I took the photos of the market I walked out into the field and started snapping pictures. I had seen in one of our seed catalogs pictures of fruit and plants with a ruler next to them. So I decided to do a few shots like that to give you guys a better idea of how big the plants and the berries are now.
A picture of a strawberry with the blossoms on it. This is one of those that measured. In the fall when we put them in they were about 2 inches wide. Now they are about 8 inches wide!!

This is a picture of the same plant and I was trying to show tall they have grown. Due to the location of the sun it is really hard to read the tape measure.

WE HAVE A BERRY!!!

I figured I had measured the plant-why not measure the berry too. Just imagine how big this one berry is going to be when it's ripe!!

Just look at all the berries already on this one. And it's still blooming too!

A whole field full of these little plants that I have shown you. Isn't all that green beautiful?
